Working Group 6 - Early career network
Initiated by Jacinta O'Shea & Chris Baeken
Leaders: Perianen Ramasawmy & Debby Klooster
The mission of the Early Career Researchers* (ECR) workgroup within the European Society of Brain Stimulation (ESBS) is to foster a dynamic and supportive environment to consult and represent early career researchers in the field of brain stimulation. This workgroup focuses on career development of aspiring professionals by providing a platform that encourages collaboration, innovation, and knowledge exchange. We aim to build a friendly community in which members feel supported in their professional and personal growth. Through networking opportunities and (online) lectures focused on career development, the WG aims to empower emerging leaders within the field of brain stimulation to make meaningful contributions and shape the future of neuroscience.
*Every ESBS member who is a student or obtained a PhD or MD degree within the preceding 5 AND is under 40 years old years is considered to be an ECR. Please note that exceptions can be made based on case-by-case evaluation for each interested member (for example due to maternity/paternity leave, sickness, or alternative career-paths).
